About

My focus in psychology is to support people to grow in their understanding of themselves and to build upon skills that help them work towards achieving personal goals and living a life that is meaningful and fulfilling.

Our Commitment

It takes courage to talk to a professional about your thoughts, feelings and experiences. It means trusting someone you may be meeting for the first time, and it might also be the first time you have ever seen a psychologist. It is understandable if you feel vulnerable, unsure or anxious about seeking help. That’s okay. A lot of people say they feel that way. By recognizing you want things to be different and asking for help you are showing determination and resourcefulness.

It is a privilege to work with people to support them with the challenges, concerns and experiences they face.

Our commitment to you is that we will be respectful and collaborative, working with you to determine what’s going to be most helpful. We will provide a safe, supportive and confidential space for you to talk about your experiences, further develop your coping strategies and work towards your personal goals.

In session we will unpack your experiences to get a better understanding of what is happening for you – like peeling off the layers of an onion. This process will help to increase awareness and work towards personal change that is meaningful for you. It will be a collaborative process and we will review along the way to check how you are finding therapy and what is working well for you.
